Unlike the previous generation of Visium skates, the new Revel Line boasts IX Boot Technology for an anatomically correct fit around the foot. Since there's much less empty space, players will notice better responsiveness and comfort through each stride. The signature Alkali forward pitch and toe spring also help to better optimize the unique roller hockey stride unlike anything else.
Another big change for the Revel 2 is the fully extruded aluminum Rize chassis. With (2) larger wheels in the rear and (2) smaller wheels in the front, the Rize chassis promotes better quick starts and overall agility than the previous straight chassis lacked. It also holds the Konixx Tachyon Wheels that essentially replaced their previous top-end Pure Wheels. Players should expect a nearly perfect balance of grip, speed, and durability out of these dual-pour wheels.

Comments: These are great skates! I got them back in March after doing a ton of research on the various options out there and coming across IW's youtube reviews as the new Alkali Revel line were about to be released. I'm really happy I decided to go with them. The design and color scheme are right up my alley, simplistic and stylish, and the construction, contour and stiffness of the boot has so far held up fantastically and makes me confident they will last a long time. I was initially hesitant with the price tag since it's a bit of a spicy meatball, but after taking the leap, these skates have been 100% worth the money. The fact that Marsblade has paired up with Alkali using their Revel 1 and 2 as their new boot pairings has also further confirmed that I made the right choice. I'm planning on upgrading my Revel's soon when the Marsblade R1 chassis come out. Then it's OVER for Gunnar and ICELAND! QUACK! QUACK! QUACK! QUACK!
