Soft and comfortableMy son had been using another brand, and we thought we would try this one since his neck is growing into senior sizes. He felt like this was the most comfortable one he has worn, and says he doesn't even feel it while wearing it. With so many of these kids trying to get away without wearing one (even though it is required by USA Hockey), getting a comfortable one that he doesn't have to think about is a big plus
