I have a pair of them and they come with the extra axle. BTW, I like the klop frame. You need to skate them a while to get the hang but I finally noticed a difference and they are good for grades and high wind (like LI beach path where I skate). The K2 Radical Pros with the 110/100 high-low frames are faster on a flat grade and calm wind but the Radical Flex Pros are better in wind and up hill, with their slightly smaller wheels and klop frames.

I have had the K2 Radical Flex Pro (100-90-100-100 w/klop) for a few years and I really like them. About a month ago I got a pair of the Radical Pro (100-100-110-110 high-low) so I know both skates. Needed the extra pair because they were never drying out.

The klop frames allow you to use more muscle groups. They are designed to let you push from the heels as normal frames are, but also to let you push with your toes. You can combine heel-toe push with them or you can alternate between the two if you're getting tired. Good for long distance, grades and wind, like where I skate. Also, the smaller wheels are a help against a stiff wind or a hill or both. On a flat course with no wind the Radical Pro (110-110-100-100) are faster, but both skates are fast. As for the Rollerblade skates (4X110), they would be similar in performance to the K2 Radical Pro with the high-low frames.

The whee setups will give varying degrees of control and maneuverability. Tough to say which is best, as each will have their opinions.

2 big in the front, and two bigger in the back, that works like I spoke of before. Able to get good speeds while keeping the deck height as low as possible with the smaller wheels. The lower the deck height, the better control. The bigger the wheel, the faster you will go. Bigger wheels take a little work to get that speed though as well.

Configurations are ways to help keep the deck height of a skate low while also having big wheels for speed. So you'll see varied setup options.

Two smaller in the front, and two bigger in the bag is most common probably. RB and some others have just one smaller in the 2nd position. All are to help obtain as much control over the skate as possible while capitalizing on the speed of larger wheels.
