I've been told that the only difference between men's and women's Rollerblade skates is the width in the heel (and the colors). Is this true? And is it true of other manufacturers as well?

I always have a problem with blisters on the inner sides of my foot above my heel. Might women's skates help me?

Currently under consideration for my next skates are K2 Radical 90s and Rollerblade Lightning 4s.

If I buy women's skates, am I going to get beaten up?

Thanks.

Width is different and sometimes the fit of the boot as a whole due to women traditionally having different shape to their calf area.

It may work well for you, but I can't say for certain. You can also try a footbed (Superfeet) to raise up your boot a bit. That may help. We sell those on the site as well.

You are welcome to try anything. As long as not used, you can return for a credit. Once taken outside though, we're kind of stuck.

Hope this helps and thanks for the post !
