Salomon Motion 8 Ti 2004... OR Motion 9 Ti 2005

Help! I am cracking my head on this two models. I like the aesthetic of the Motion 8 but what is the difference in terms of technology and the overall construction between the two mentioned skates? Is it true that the 2005 model is more comfortable as compare with the 2004 model?

We no longer have the 9Ti, so your decision may have been made for you unfortunately.

The 9ti most definitely is a nicer skate in regards to wheels and bearings. You get ILQ7 bearings and 84mm wheels compared to ABEC5 80mm wheels on the 8 Ti. The 8Ti is just a more intermediate level skate. Not bad by any means and very comfortable. Just not spiced up to a performance level skate like the 9ti.

You can't go wrong with either. $109.99 for the 8Ti is great... Only a few remain of those as well..
