Having trouble with Axle and Screws on Salamon TR's

I have recently been having an issue where the screws come loose from the axle while going on long rides (about 12 miles). On this particular set of skates, if I tighten the screws too much, it severely restricts the wheel speed. When I back them off, then I have this issue. Is there a solution to this problem to keep my wheels running smoothly but not losing screws/axles while riding?

I have the stock axle set with no modifcations other than fairly firm 80mm wheels and BSB swiss bearings. The rest of the skates are stock.

Sorry.. couldn't resist.

Interesting problem and not a real common one. You could try a new axle set, but that would be my last resort. I would first try using some tape on your screws to get them to hold better. The hardward store will have some blue tape like that for plumbing and what have you. Gets a better seal and should prevent slippage or vibrating loose.
