View Full Version : Queries on International shipping
Hi! I'm an interested buyer from Singapore and I hope you can answer a few queries:
a) I'm keen on the men's K2 Kinetic 10.0 but I do not see them in size 9.5, which is my preferred size after a trial fitting at local stores. Will these sizes be re-stocked soon?
b)I would also like to know the approximate dimensions( L x B x H) and weight of the shipping package so that I can calculate the costs of alternate shipping arrangements (VPOSTUSA).
c) Also, as bottomline is quite important for me, I'm just wondering if skates purchased can be re-packaged into smaller boxes(for cheaper delivery costs)
Thank you

Unfortunately K2 is sold out. That is why it is removed from the site. We will not be able to re-stock that size. We do have size 9 or 10 if one of those works for you.
The box is about 24"x14"x6". The site will provide prices and options online for you.
We ship the skate inside their box, and then put that box in our Inline Warehous box which is designed for skates. We do this so shipping labels are not affixed to skate boxes in the case of return. If skate boxes are damaged, we do not take back as they have the appearance of used or second hand. Customers do not like to receive such packages understandably.
Thanks for the posts!

Dear Stan
Thanks for the prompt reply. I found K2 size 9s to be slightly too tight on my little toe, while I haven't tried size 10. I guess I will try out a few more models here before I decide.
The reason I asked if it could be repackaged was because the shipping option I was considering (VPOSTUSA) is cheaper than International FedEx Economy, but charges according to volumetric weight of the box dimensions. Hence it is in my best interests to have as small a box as possible. However I understand your concerns regarding the shipping labels.
I will make my decision later. Thanks again.

If instruced, we could take the skates out of their box and put them in a box loose. This would considerably cut down the size of the box.
Only problem would be that you wouldn't be able to return the skates as we wouldn't save this box for you.
Thanks,
Stan
When you say Returns won't be possible do you mean a return and a request for a refund?
Does this include replacement if the skates are found defective?

See the customer service section for information on returns. We accept skates back that are not used and in original packaging. If you are asking us to take out of their box and send loose, you won't be able to send them back for return without the box. We're not going to hold onto the skate box for 6mths to see if you will be returning the skates or not.
