As long as they fit, you will be fine. Salomon doesn't make junk. The hub is the center part of the wheel the bearings fit in. A micro hub is a smaller opening to fit a smaller bearing. Standard bearings are 608, that is a size. Microbearings are 688 a much smaller size. If you're racing, microbearings are lighter but unserviceable. 608 bearings are heavier but widely available and serviceable.e

You can change from Micro (688) bearings to Standard (608) bearings. Typically it is just the bearing spacer that resides in the middle of the bearings that would need changing. All other existing hardware would work fine.
Micro bearings and hub refer to the bearings themselves, and the hub of the wheel which fit those bearings. You CAN service micro bearings, just more difficult due to their size.
Micros are a little lighter, but in grams. There is more wheel and bearing selection on our site for standard bearings and wheels, but we have plenty offered in micro as well.
Thanks for the post
