Looking at the pic of K2 Radical 90 Fitness Skate '05, it appears the gap between the 90mm wheels are quite wide - I wonder if the 100mm wheels can be used to replace the 90mm wheels? Anyone knows the distance between the wheel axiles, and the distance between the axile and the boot?
The reason I ask is I am now using a pair of Rollerblade ALU 7, and I have no problem in fitting the 84mm wheels into the frames that are supposed to be for 78mm wheels only. All it took was a small filing (about 2mm) down of the rear cross bars, which took 5 minutes of work. I do not detect any adverse effect, and the speed increases 8% instantly.
