So what is the diff and which Is better? Looking to get a pair of skates to replace my damaged one. My last pair was a three buckle system. I have tried the Rollerblade Lightning size 9, a little tight but hated the long frame. Found it hard to steer.

With 90mm wheels, you are going to need a big frame to house them. If not comfortable with a larger frame, go with 84mm or 80mm skates.

The L2 is the newer version of the L. The L2 is better, because it is available:) The other is discontinued. Much the same skate, but one is obsolete. You also have boot modifications and cosmetic differences. The L2 has one more year's worth of engineering and is slight improvement on the previous year. If able to get hold of the '06 skate, not a bad purchase. We have only 8, 8.5 & 9 left and RB is out.

Thanks for the post.

Many thanx for the reply. Sorry for the silence as I have been away. Could you please explain in greater detail the diff between L and L2.

Again, the L2 is the new version of the L. Like going from the K2 Radical 90 2006, to the Radical 90 2007. Not a lot of difference other than they don't make one any longer.
