Thoughts on first time skates?

I'm new to in-line skating and want to get a decent pair of skates. I'm attracted to the Rollerblade TFS series, but as a beginner, would they be too much skate for me?

I'm fairly athletic at 43 years old, can still ride a skateboard etc.
