newbie wheel question

I'm new to the forum and just getting back into skating (my kids are old enough now to make me). I just bought a new pair of skates (K2 soul slides) and was wondering if you can put smaller wheels on the front of them (the hi/lo set up I've read about) or if the frame has to be set up for the two different sizes?

Those skates are set up for that, no. Wouldn't be a great idea and you would be wearing your wheels funky and so forth. You would need to get hi-lo.
