Hi, I have great tecnica inline skates I bought about 8 years ago and I can't find a replacement brake pad anywhere. About 2 years ago I found them on the internet, but now I'm not finding them. I'm kicking myself for not buying a bunch of them then.
Does anyone know where to look for old rubber brake pads?

Thanks!

Christine

Tecnica was a Rollerblade skate actually, so their should work fine. There is the main one that screws up through the middle of the pad.

and then the other that screws from the sides.

Check your and see if one of these would work. I'm thinking one will match. Unfortunately I can't test w/o a Tecnica skate here.

Thanks!

I too would like to resurrect a pair of ancient skates that need brakes, but my situation is a little more complicated.

The skates are K2 Flight 76s, and they're missing the entire assembly, not just the pad. I don't even know what to look for, much less whether you guys have what I need.

I guess the alternative is just to get really really good with brakeless stopping methods, but I'm just picking up the skates again after a very long lapse and...regrettably I'm just not there yet. ;)

Great skates. I remember those well...

Unfortunately the parts are obsolete for this model :( I confirmed with K2 this morning.

The good news would be that prices are wayyy down on new and clearace models in that 78mm-80mm size so it wouldn't be much more to get a whole new pair actually.

Sorry...

Thanks for the post

Thanks, Stan. I'll miss the Flights but I guess new skates are in my future. ;)
