I just got a new pair of K2 Kinetic 10.0s with these ILQ type of bearings. At first I was a little disappointed because they were slow but it was explained to me that these are grease bearings and they will loosen up, which they have. So how do you keep these lubed? Or are they maintenance free? ( yeah- I can't believe I asked that last question either!)

Well... Ill put it this way, I have had my ILQ-9 Classics since November.. havent cleaned them once.. not one time. They still run like a bat out of hell. So I think you can figure that one out. ;)

Just dont go getting a bunch of dirt and water in them and they will run good. ILQ-9s, from my experience with them, are not meant for fast acceleration but they coast very well. Once you build up some speed on them they run great. The grease will loosen up after about 50-100 miles and from there your good to go for a good long time.

I put in 80-100 miles or more a week and I wont give them up for anything except a new set of ILQ-9s. For the price and their seemingly indestructible construction .. they are hard to beat.

Just my 10 cents worth. ;)
Thanks.
