Sorry for the late reply. I missed your post.

I haven't heard of this problem to be honest. I went to your link and read the posts though and obviously it has happened to at least a few people.

Part of the problem is the size of the wheels. With the bigger wheel, it poses issues like the one you've read on the board. As this is the first year of the larger wheel, I'm sure it will be corrected in the future. We received zero calls in regards to this from our customers and we've sold hundreds of these skates already. I'm not saying it isn't something to consider, but I don't hear it being a large problem.

Stay away from rocks would be the easy answer. I'm sure K2 will correct it in the future if a design flaw as well as honor any returns if a customer claims defect. They are reall good about that.
