K2 VO2 MAX Fitness Skate '05 VS. Salomon Pilot Pro 9 '04

For skating long distances with the most comfort and efficiency, which skate do you like better . . pros and cons of the K2 VO2 Max or the Pilot Pro 9 '04 ?

I'm fresh off the VO2 Max skates from last weekend and was very impressed with them. Maybe I'm biased since I just got off them, I don't know. The sailed though and were quick, not only fast. Got up to speed real easily and then it is easy to hold and perfect for longer rides.

There's really no negative on the two skates mentioned. The VO2 Max with the larger wheels is nice, but the Pilot 9 Pro at 84mm is plenty for longer skates and was all you could ask for until they started out with the HUGE wheels in 2005. I love the Salomon's and have been skating them for a while. You can't go wrong with either. The 84mm may give you some added versatility as far as maneuverablity over the 90mm, but you can always throw smaller wheels on the 90mm frame. You can put 90's on the 84mm frame.
