Looking for a all around ripper. I currently seem to do everything but skate, i long board, surf, ski and snow board and i seem to be pretty good at all of them. I use to skate all the time as a kid form age 11-16 and im currently 20. Looking to get back into. I recently put on my old missions and i picked it up pretty fast but since i dont play hockey anymore i wanna get a skate that really just shreds. I wont be doing any agressive grinds or playing hockey but i will be looking for somthing that i can go fast on and whip around turns and on and off some small ledges(2-3 feet) and maybe off some stairs but nothing huge, something thats also good for some distance to but nothing past 15 miles . I was looking at the mach 90 and moto 84. It seems only k2 and roller blade make skates and the k2's i found to fit my foot rly good for the most part.

Im also 6' 200 lbs and in good shape, run 3-5 miles everyday. And i dont rly have a price range.

Any help would be awesome! Thanks guys and girls!

For your size and what you will be doing or wanting to do, it speaks loudly to me that the Rollerblade RB10 be a great choice.

Above is the link. If you look further up the message board, there is a product review on these by a customer. Very fun skates that are fast, durable, and responsive. I think they would be great for you.

Thanks for the post!

Now i got a chance to try on the rb10's and i felt they weren't as comfortable as the mach 90, what would you say makes the mach 90 lack compared to the rb10? Should i still go with rb 10 even if there not as comfortable on my foot?

Thanks for all help!

Comfort is huge as you will skate longer and feel better.

I would steer toward the RB10 only because it sounds like you will be pretty tough on the skates and they are more durable with stronger frames and molded shell boots.

The Mach 90's are great for skating short and long distances and doing everything but jumping off ledges and what not. If you are just skating, then I would say go with the comfort. If you plan to beat up your skates, then maybe the more invincible skate makes more sense.

Thanks.

What is your take on me getting the fusion x7's as i tryed them on felt they were much more comfortable then the rb10's. Also how is the mach 90 at manuvering? Skating switch and take sharp turns will it be difficult on??

The Mach 90 maneuvers well and the boots are a bit more venitallated than the X7. The molded shell vs softboot being your big difference between the two. Both fine skates at 90mm, but just a different feel.

The X7's are a more 'urban' type skate being of solid construction and able to take some punishment. Not that you can throw your Mach 90' around. Versatility in frame choice on the X7 should you want to get into an 'aggressive' type skate at some point.

Thanks for the post!
