I have a pair of Rollerblade Crossfire Skates (only about 6 months old) and the TFS Power cable snapped when I went to put them on this morning. I was wondering if anyone else had a similar experience. Can I get this repaired or replaced under warranty?
Thanks in advance.

Haven't had any problems on our end, but Rollerblade does have a warranty. It is 6 months, so if you are at that timeline, make sure you get hold of us or whomever you bought from to get an RA set up for a return to RB under warranty.
Thanks,

This is disapponting to hear - as I am very seriously thinking of obtaining a pair of these myself - and as they don't seem to be available locally I wouldn't want to have to post them back to the U.S. to get fixed!!
Anyway, how do you find the skates apart from that problem? They look pretty classy.

 I have a pair of Crossfire 90's that have done the same thing! I have emailed Rollerblade about this and they have not replied. I am so disappointed in their service on this. My skates were less than 6 months old and hardly even used when my left skate broke. I have to wrap the lace around the handle of a screwdriver just to use the blades....that is a pain. Then if you don't carry the screwdriver with you, then you can't adjust the boot during the skate..:(
ROLLERBLADE if you read this, you owe me..........
With all that said, before the string broke I loved them! So comfortable, quick on/off and very fast for me. I went from a 76mm to a 90mm and will never go back.
Anyone who wants more information can email me and I will be more than happy to discuss these skates with you.

The crossfire are nice and smooth skates, but my lace also broke after 5 times use. It snapped while I was skating. This seems to be a weak design point, and incredibly annoying. They should come up with a permanent fix/upgrade for this. Wondering if Sportmart where I bought it will be able to do anything, or I have to contact the manufacturer.
I used my old bravoblade glx for 10 years with only switching wheels, bearings and brakes, so not used to this poor quality. I even think I will get my old skates fixed so that I have a backup, if anyone have an extra axle for a bravoblade glx let me know ;)

The laces are sold aftermarket on our site and the skates have a 6 month warranty if anything should happen before then.
Some love those laces, others do not. There hasn't been a large problem or anything that I would say warrant concern. Correct use of the laces and you shouldn't have any problem. If defective, then something would go right away.
Thanks.

My cables have lasted a yr and still fine but this link list them very cheap for $16 USD.
