IW,
Thank you for your on-time delivery of the K2 Soul Slide I ordered last week. The b&w design seems almost too cool to me :)
There's one thing that I had discovered, though, which I don't blame IW for, but I'm really angry with. When I wanted to remove the heel brake it turned out that there was no spare standard short axle and I don't even know where to find it! That really, really sucks after a deal worth almost two hundred bucks.
I do not know whether the policies of the manufacturers had changed so much during the last four years, but I remember I used to buy not-so-fancy brand skates and back then some geniuses realized that after removing the heel brake a differend axle would be really handy to be able to use the skate.
I feel the urge to throw some flames on K2, but my question is if maybe the axle was missing in the package or what? The hex wrench was there (I have 10 of them in my toolbox) but no axle.
Thank you so much.
