So I received the Fusion X7's that I ordered and after having them on for 2-3 minutes it became VERY uncomfortable. They appear to be much more narrow than I was hoping they would be.

Could someone suggest a wider skate?

Hmm. Rolllerblade is typically a bit wider than a K2. The RB10 skates are nice and may work for you. I love those skates.

Do you have extra wide feet? If real wide, you may have to get into something like a Bont Alpha or Semi Race that will mold to your width.

Thanks for the post!

I believe I have 3x or 4x E. Do they just need to be broken in over time? I know part of the problem is how hard they are on the bottom which can be remedied, but its a bit tight on the side.

Or maybe go up half a size?

The bottom can be corrected pretty easily, yes. But the sides, not so much.

They only have so much room with the molded shell to work with, so they will only be able to break in/down so much to accomodate width.

at 3E and 4E, that is pretty wide. I'm thinking a Bont skate that molds to a very very high degree may be your best bet.

Sorry...:(

Update -

I measured my foot to be a size 12, which is about 11 1/3". The width was somewhere between 4 and 4 1/2" which would put me in the single E range for width, I guess my feet slimmed up as they grew bigger.

So with this information, should I be able to break into the X7's comfortably, or maybe go up a half size? Or stick with pursuing a wider skate like a Bont?

Oh and I very much appreciate you taking the time to help me out, it's really great you do this for your customers!

I think you'll be fine with those measurements actually...

I would go for it. Try it on indoors and if it doesn't fit how you want, we'll even pay for return shipping (if in the US). Just don't use them until you are sure you want to keep.

I think you should be Ok though... Or you can ship me one of your feet and I'll try it out for you :)

Thanks for the post
