I was reading up on skates for a while, needing to upgrade my old Bauer XF/4 (I cannot keep up with my out-of-shape friends with much newer skates).
I decided on something ABEC-7 or better, and I am impressed with the K2 line. I am an intermediate skater and not really aggressive.
I first caught eye of the EXO line, and was impressed with the specs for the EXO 6.1, but your stock has dropped to not include my size anymore.

Are the EXO 6.1 the same skate as the K2 Moto Fitness Skates Men's 2007?
From the specs available (and the image), they seem to be the same skate, with a new color for the new year model.

Could you recommend any other skates that may be similar?

Thank you.

The K2 exo 6.1 used 84 mm and 80 mm wheels in a high/low setup. I'm not sure how you rotate these wheels. The Moto 90's use larger 90 mm wheels.

The big wheels are a plus on rough pavement and help improve top speed. On the other hand for hockey where peaple make a lot of quick turns and accelerate rapidly the smaller wheels and shorter frames are better.

That is correct, based upon the specs. However, there is a "EXO Moto" model that is cheaper (and uses the 2-size wheels) than the "EXO Moto 90" model.

What are your friends skating? Big wheels and long frames will win a marathon but that high/low setup would get you turned around and back up at the other goal quicker.

There is Moto and a Moto 90. Two different skates.

The Moto is similar to the Exo yes. The hi-lo will give you the speed of an 84mm, but the maneuvering ability of an 80. Good choice I think for you.

Rotating is simple. You just switch the front two wheels with each other and the back with each other. Either flipping, moving, or switching skates. Thanks.
