I'm debating between these 2 skates and any help would be appreciated. I'm an intermediate skater looking for a good rec skate. I don't do jumps or tricks, etc.. I was leaning towards the MACH 90 but after a little more reading I'm rethinking the hard boot vs. soft boot. I'm 6'2", 225lbs and was reading that the hard boot offers more support especially in the ankles but I'm concerend about the comfort of a hard boot.

Thanks
Tom

Thanks for the post and sorry for the delay as I missed it on the board :(

With your size, something stable and durable isn't a bad choice. Something I think may be right down your alley is the new Rollerblade RB10 skates. I skated them the other day and they are very nice.

They have the 90mm wheel size, molded shell and strong frames. Comfortable though and feel like a softboot, but with a molded shell. They aren't heavy either at just over 7lbs a pair for a size 9 which is in line with softboots.

The Mach 90 and Moto 90 are great skates. 225 isn't anything those can't handle. So I wouldn't take my post as those not being good choices still. A softboot is very comfortable and I skate K2's myself most of the time. The stability cuffs from K2 make you feel plenty stable up top. They don't leave you naked, but rather have strategic molded plastic at all the right places to give you support, while allowing just softboot elswhere.

Thanks for the post !

The Rollerblade Crossfire II 4D in line fitness skate for men brings. It can give you the best speed, versatility, and you will feel comfortable with it. The three techniques with power lateral support shell gives you amazing comfort. Actually i had the problem with it so buy new one.

These were nice, but a little heavy for me with the frames on those..
