I am experienced and skilled inline skater who had been away from the sport for a couple of years due to injury, and things have changed. I purchased a pair of Aero 9 from you guys about 6 months ago and love the skates. However, compared to my previous Rollerblade models (Macroblade Equipe/ Maxxum, Aeroblades, Energy 4.4) the boot is an inch or two shorter. While that is great for speed and distance training, I prefer a tall boot for more support. Specifically, I live in an urban area that requires skating down stairs and jumping obstacles to get to trails/ paths. The Aeros do not seem to give very good support in those circumstances, and I do not want trick/ cross skate for that would negate my primary purpose. I am tall (6'2) and a skier so I may be biased to a taller, stiffer boot. Any recommendations on "taller" fitness skates? I do not have a brand loyality.

The above link takes you to a write up on the various K2 cuffs. You can see and read a little about the different cuffs K2 offers. I'm thinking somethign with Enhanced Stability would be good. Check out the K2 Kinetic 8 or Kinetic 10 skates.

Normally, as you go to higher end skates you will get less support up top to provide more freedom.

Hope this helps and thanks for the post !!
