To follow up with my previous post. I just read a thread that said a woman needed micro bearings for her inline skates? How do I know which ones I need??

Here is what I have.

Rollerblade Aero

Salomon Carbon

Roller Derby Retro 500

Thanks, Beth

There are 2 standard sizes, 608 & 688, there is also a non-standard 698 but I think only 1 manufacturer used them. Most of the better quality bearings will say something like Z608, ZZ608, 608, Z688, ZZ688, etc, right on them, but the easy way to tell is this: if the outer diameter of the bearing is about he size of a US nickel, it's a 608 bearing, if it's about the size of a US dime, it's probably a 688 bearing.
