I was just reading the RB crossfire review on inlineplanet.com. They mentioned the crossfire as being a replacement for the Aero and that the fit was different.

I have had the chane to try on a Crossfire in a size 13, it seemed roomier than I expected in the heel and not that wide of a toebox. In fact, the overall feeling was much roomier with less toes room than my current K2 VO2's in a size 12.5.

Perhaps the Aero 90/Aero8 is different? I am pretty happy with the fit of the K2 but want a tad shorter wheelbase and lateral frame adjustment.

A tad different, but probably safer to say similar rather than different. Molds are fairly true throughout their skates as is for any brand in my opinion.

Thanks for the post.

I asked this because I heard rumors that earlier RB's had less toe room. I had a chance to try on the size 13 crossfires again. I think I might actually fit better in a 12.5...especially after the liner packs out. I feel like I am swimming in these although a size 13 twister seems to fit me pretty well.

I also really dont like the newer styles, I really like the look of the 05 Aero 8's and Aero 90's.
