Hello,
I am an experienced (roller hocky) inline skater looking for a pair of skates for recreational use around town. I want speed, comfort, durability and maneuverability.
I plan to skate on the street and occasionally jump off curbs and down a couple stairs and so fourth (when they present themseleves;)) so I am concerned about having a skate that can stand up to that kind of use. I am about 200 pounds.
I've narrowed it down to the K2's and the Alphas (leaning towards the BONTS)
My questions:
1 Are the BONT Alpha's something that fits the bill for me. Are they maneuverable and durable?
2 Are the BONT and K2's comparble in terms of thier characteristics/intended uses?
Thanks for any advice

I wouldn't put either in a category to where they would be highly maneuverable. The Bont at 90mm wheel size more so, but it is a low cut boot that likely won't give the support you are after if looking to skate 'aggressive' like you mention. The Moto 100 has more stability on the upper boot, but is a large wheel skate at 100mm. Both are great for speed and so forth, but are designed for longer skates and distances.

The Moto 90 at 90mm may work better. The Rollerblade Fusion X7 skate at 90mm has good speed, the toughness to handle jumps, a lot of support, and still good maneuverability.

Just a thought.

Alpha skates are very nice for those ready for that style of boot.

Thanks for the post.
