G'afternoon,

I'm looking to purchase a new set of "urban" blades and would appreciate some input from those in the community as I live in Canada and have had trouble finding any stores that carry any of the higher-end models. With there being little option in returns for international orders on this site it makes it all the more important that I make the right choice the first time.

I've tried the Rollerblade Fusion X5's and found they were really uncomfortable and didn't like the hurdle that the largely hard shell boot provided. I'm moving from a hockey skate so the short frame is very important to me but I'm looking for something that provides the same support as a hockey skate but also provides the comfort of a soft boot.

So I've narrowed it down to the K2 The Don and the K2 Il Capo. Both seem to be largely identical outside of the cuff design and was just wondering if someone could elaborate on the minute differences in the two models.

Any help is much appreciated.

Very similar skates with the main differences being the cuff and how you see the soul on the sides.

Both should be more comfortable than you found the Twister and lighter. I like The Don better as it seems to offer stability where needed, but not too much while still staying comfortable. Plus the colors appeal to me more :)

Just an opinion.

Returns are not a problem from Canada. You would be responsible for return shipping is all.

Thank you.

Between the two you might be better off with the il capo for support. It's got a stiff cuff with a soft boot.

Im looking to by my first pair of racing skates. I have a inline hockey back ground and am sick of wearing those skates on the paths for long trips. Just wondering if anybody had an opinion on a skate out there thats not to expensive but still has the quality of a good skate. Price range 200-300.

2010 Mission skates are in stock now.

Check out our roller hockey page and also check out the message board off that page to talk to other hockey players.

Thanks!
