Hi,

I need the best wheels for my K2 2003 MOD LT. This is a Micro Bearing (688RS) skates. I search for 80mm/~82a.

According to my local salesman, it appears that it is very hard to find wheels for this kind of skates (K2 2003 MOD LT) because K2 has made a specific Micro Bearing with a specific size.. is it true ?

Thank you

Éric

AFAIK they used standard micro bearings, however, you do not have to use micro bearings & wheels with those skates if you don't want to.

As far as "Best" wheels go, what kind of skating are you doing, recreational, fitness, marathons, speed skating, indoors or outdoors, what kind of skating surface, rough asphault, semi-smooth asphault, smooth asphault, rough concrete, smooth concrete, painted concrete, wood, urethane(Synthetic wood), etc... These all play a part in determining what wheels are "best" for you.

If 688 micro bearings, then yes, any micro bearings on our site will be fine.

An older version of the LT did use a 698 micro bearing which was used in the K2 Catalyst. Those are the hard ones to find and are not used or stocked.

Converting wouldn't be a problem even in that case, but any bearings listed as micro on our site are fine. Check out the BSB's.

Thanks!
