hey,

reentering skating, had a pair of K2s since '98. Finally they crapped out, thinking of K2 VO2 Max as a replacement. I wear a 13 EE shoe and weigh about 260 lbs.

Is this a good choice? are there any others I should be looking at, as a fitness skater?

Great skates. The wide foot would be the only issue. If you've skated size 13 K2's previous, then I wouldn't foresee any problems.
