Hey everyone. My first post. Can I offer a couple of items. Sorry but I'm going to plug the heck out of IW.
I've ordered a bunch of stuff from IW over the past couple of years, and have received great products, very fast shipping, and great service. I've been skating a pair of Carbon Marathons with 100's for a couple of years, and I love them. I am about ready to take the plunge and get some pure speed skates. And I've been struggling mightily with the decision. My issues are return fees, the prospect of heat molding, and the high cost of course. The fear of no ankle support. One of my biggest phobias is actually wimpy buckles. The buckle on the carbon marathons is strong and durable. I skate daily and put a lot of pressure on it.
But now, gentle co-skaters, I just discovered that IW is selling the big names in pure speed skates. Bont, Luiginos, Catos, and Roces. I have not wanted to buy from smaller pure speed skating websites because of their size and return policies and limited selection. IW allows free return shipping for skates? What? 365 days? Unbelievable.
I am in heaven. I am truly psyched.
