Hi, What is the story on K2 Radical FLX? What do they mean by "Klop like frame"? Does IW plan on selling this skate in the future?

Interesting term isn't it? Strange choice.
The Radical Flex hasn't actually been made. They have it in their 2008 catalog, but they never produced it. It is planned for a 2009 release. Having not seen it other than in photo, I can't speak of it unfortunately.
They say it allows for more muscle groups to be involved when skating to help avoid fatigue. How it all works, I'm afraid I don't know. It will be a 4x110 though.
I'm getting ready to bring in Bont skates!!! Hope you folks want them. Not cheap, but some pretty cool stuff. They have a Semi Race skate which is 100mm, and then the Jet skate. I'll be bringing in those two models to start along with a few frames and wheels.

Glad to hear about Bont. Don't forget Alpha,a real nice fitness skate at a great price. Just make sure you're clear on a return policy. Bont boots usually need heat molding to get the right fit.

Hi, bringing in Bonts seem to be a good idea. Think a lot of people want them. I just recently found out about the semi race model and now my mind is set on the white ones for the upcoming season. When will you have them and what will they cost? Will you have the white ones or just the red ones? Is there a break included with these or do you have to buy one separately (know the have a separate speed brake for 90 and 100 mm wheels)?

(hmm, maybe this thread should be moved now..?)

I'll move this thread ...
We're getting just the white ones in, not the red.
Brake is included but I'll know for sure soon. Getting some Alpha's in too. And the Jet. I think the Alpha and Semi Race are very cool and should do well.
Should be in stock in about 6 weeks. Takes a while to get skates in from Bont, but it will be worth the wait.
Thanks for the post!

Hey Stan
Did you mention Bonts? :D
I'm also looking at those right now.
I noticed that in the sizing section, you've already added Bont there.. And you mentioned it would be 6 weeks before you get the skates in stock.
When do you think you would have the pricing info for the Bont models uploaded to IW website? :)
Cheers

They are actually up already. Just type Bont in the white search box or use the link below.

Pictures aren't up yet, but skates are on the way. Also have Cado Motus boots on the site and will add their frames.
Bont
Luigino
Cado Motus
Edgetek
That will round out our speed skate section and I think we got the names that matter most. Bont & Luigino being the big boys naturally, and Cado and Edgetek the possible up and comers.

Glad to see the addition of Bont to your wares!!! I am definitely loving Bont's current crop of skates, but I'm not opposed to trying out other skates.
I'm currently skating on 2006 full custom Vaypors for races, & 2007 Semi-Race for training. IMO, the Semi-Race skate is the best overall skate, it can easily handle fitness, recreational, & speed skating duties.
I put up a review of my Semi-Race skates over at inline planet (http://www.inlineplanet.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=1566&hilit=review)
Although I probably won't need new skates for a couple years, I do want to get the new 4x110mm Magnesium S-Frame, hopefully before the end of summer. I have the original (2006 version) 4x110 S-frame but it's considerably heavier than the new (current) style S-frame due to the design & over-engineering of the original.

Excellent. Glad to see you back on the board as well. Always great insight...
I have a couple frames coming in (magnesium) and can order more as needed. Alpha, Jet and Semi's on the way.. But I think I'll have to break down and grabl those Vaypors too. We're getting all 2008 stuff so won't have any closeout. Getting the new Semi's as well and not the red.
Cado Motus, Bont, Luigino and perhaps Edgetek.
We are revamping our ice hockey and inline hockey pages to be posted in about a week. Next is my fitness pages. So I'll have a new look there with the speed skates separated out a bit from the rest so as people can differentiate easy. As you know, those wanting to see speed skates, don't like browsing around the others to find them. I'll also have some custom setup abilities on the site too.
Planning on having the boots shown with add-on frames that are compatible and and add-on wheels to choose from. That way one can get a Bont Jet Boot, with Luigino Pilot Frames and MPC Wheels or something like that. And of course, the complete setups as well.
Thank you.
