I just bought the K2 Moto Fitness Skates Men's 2008....my son just started speed skating at age 5 and I got tired of sitting around to watch...SO I bought these since they came in size 14. Anyways, being 6'1 and 260 lbs the wheels that came on the skates seem soft...they are 80A....do you have any recommendation for my weight?? for both wheels and bearings. These do okay, but they dont seem to roll that great...Im constantly working to keep going...its all indoor skating.
Thanks for the help!

80A is definitely on the softer side. Will give a smooth ride, but will wear out quickly.
My favorite bearings are the Bones Swiss for $65. If you can't swing those, the BSB ABEC 9 or try the new OUST bearings. Any of those 3 you'll be set.
Wheels. Get up in the 82A minimum. 84A even better at your size. Hypeformance + G wheels perhaps or if you're feeling nice to yourself, Matter wheels.
thanks!

Awesome! Thanks for the advice...Ill definitely go with the best!
What about the wheel size?? The Hypeformance + G comes in 84mm only and I believe the skates came with 84mm on the back and 80mm on the front...does it hurt to use the same size on front and back with the axle thats there?

I think you're looking at the micro hubs. You would be using the standard hub.
