Hi,
I'm looking for a recreation/fitness skate with 90mm wheels and am torn between three Crossfire skates: the 4D Air Carbon LE, 4D Air LE Mens and the Crossfire II 4D Fitness Skates 07.

Can you give me some idea of the major differences. They seem very similar (except in price).

Thanks!

All good choices. The Pump would be the major difference. And of course the look and some ventillation.

The two Air skates (LE and Carbon) are not all that much difference and I would go with the Air LE if choosing the pump. The pump is pretty cool and it does allow a nice fit around the foot evey time. I like the venitillation better on the Air skates as well. All 3 sell well however and I don't think you can make a bad choice if choosing one of the 3. Hope this helps.

Thanks, for your help. Is there any significant weight difference between the three models? I thought the carbon skate might be lighter.
Thanks again!

No... It's more of a carbon-look than carbon if you read the description. The Air Pump would be the feature that separates those two skates from the other.

Thanks,
Stan

10 months after my first post and I still haven't pulled the trigger! But I will. One question regarding the TFS closure. If it snaps after the warranty period, how much does it cost to fix it and how difficult is it? (i.e., can I do it myself, or do I have to send the skate in?):)

You can figure it out yourself. You can buy individually left or right and depending on the model, they are $8 - 16 each.

Thanks!
