Hi IW,

I just received my ThunderFSK, pretty happy except for the fact that the australian customs made me pay an extra $100 just because the value of the goods were over $AU250 by $5!!!!!!!!

anyways, the question I want to ask is is the top part of the skate (the part with the buckle) meant to be able to move (rotate) forward when I squad down on my feet?

I have seen some skates do that, but it doesn't on mine... is this normal?

Thanks.

Death and taxes.... Two things we can count on.

Every country is different on those. Some as little as 20%, and others as high as 65% (Brazil I think).

As we do not charge these or know what they are, you would have to check with your local customs to see how and what they charge.

BUT.. If you order Express Mail, we have been known to value the package so as to minimize or eliminate most duties and taxes. Not possible with FedEx.

The FSK skate you have is a little bulkier or more rigid than a typical fitness skate. A fitness skate would have more flex on the cuff and movement than the skate you have.

Hope this helps.

Hang on a sec - like the Crossmax do the thundermax have the little white spacer bar thing on them? Hmm I am not explaining myself well - well have a look at your boot - look where you would expect it to swivel if the cuff moved - is there a piece of white plastic jammed in there to stop it from swivelling?

if so a simple flatheaded screwdriver carefully used should remove it and you will have some (if minimal) forward and backward flex.

Correct. There is a piece that can be removed for more flex.
