Soul SLide review/ backordered?

Well let me start out by talking about my skate history. Ice skated since 4 and rollerbladed since 6. Ive had skate from plastic rolerblades then got a set of k2 soul slides in 95 from my cousin, and i loved those skates to death. I used them for hockey and rec skate. I used them till they fell apart, and then bought k2 accent which was alright. Those blades are toast now and i seen they remade the soul slides so i had to buy them. does anyone have any reviews in comparision to the orignials? I also read on some other site that they were going to be a limited edition from germany. Is there really limted quanties or are they pullin my leg?

But my question to ISW is how long have the size 10's been backordered and do you expect them on the 10th like me invoice says or the 15th like the site says? Also have they been on backorder for a long time?

They were actually supposed to ship to us on Feb 26th and be here the first. They have experienced some sort port issue and were on the water yesterday still. I'm thinking the 15th date should be fine. K2 ships quickly when they have them at the warehouse. I just don't know what type of importation issue they have stumbled on. Skates will be here though. Exactly when....I can only go off what we are hearing.

As for comparison, they are much improved from 95. Will feel better and skate better. I think you'll enjoy them. Thanks for the post !

im guessing that they are still held up, and now is the estimation date mar 20th? The weather is getting nice and im hoping that they wil be here asap. YOu are the only company i have seen that stocks size 10's so i guess ill wait to see what goes down. I also hope that they dont return the item due to the way it was imported. Sometimes they refuse and send it back so i hope that isnt the case

Still at the 20th for an estimated time of arrival. I'm hoping for sooner, but one can't really know when dealing with ports and customs.

K2 is one of the fastest vendors we have once the items are with them, so they'll fly to us once they have them. The unknown part is the port. We'll update as soon as we know something.
