k2 Sizing question

I am looking for my first pair of inline skates. I went to our local big box today (only local option) and K2's fit best (2.1 and 6.1) but only in a full size larger than my normal shoe size -- is this normal?

Are sizes pretty standard across the K2 line -- the Soul 7 sounds more like what I'm looking for than the exos, but I can't find them locally.

Any other suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

Across the line for K2 yes, sizing would remain the same.

Normally a 1/2 size larger than your shoe is what we see/hear, but sizing is a preference. So whatever feels good.
