OK, so for a mixture of skating (fitness/rec/hockey,) my search has come down to the the K2 Moto and the CCM 4.0. I don't mind changing up wheels, so which one do I go for.

It really depends on the fit that you are looking at in the boots, also what type of skating you are going to be doing. The Moto skate is going to be better for recreational skating, like distance and trails. It will give more of a comfort fit. Then the CCM skate will be better for hockey. It will have smaller wheels for a quicker skate with better turning. However it does not have the same comfort that the Moto skate has in the liner. If you are going to be skating more on trails and skating just for fun then would recommend that you stay with the Moto skate. Using the CCM for distance skating would be a rough ride.
