I'm looking for a new pair of skates. My spending limit is $150-$200 and I would be using the skates for both road skating (not v. intensive) and hockey. What would be my best bet. I'm open to either hockey or fitness skates, whatever you think would work best.

Kind of tough. Hockey skates are completely different from fitness skates. So you'll need to decide what you'll be using them for more and then maybe I can help.
The V6.0 CCM skate is a good one for $189. Unless getting a low end hockey skate, all will have stock indoor wheels (soft). You can skate them outdoor, but they'll wear fairly fast and you'll need to replace with harder onces once they do.
Or you can go something like the K2 Roadie that has outdoor wheels for $99 and have 80mm wheels so they aren't so big you lose maneuverability.

well more light park skating more than anything too far (not longer than 1-2 miles.) Chances are I would be playing more hockey than rec. skating. Recently I have been looking at the RBK 4ks...
