Why are the pickings so slim for 80mm 80a wheels? They come standard on so many skates but they're so hard to find as replacements. I skate in the city so for me I'd much rather have a slightly softer wheel that I know I can avoid a car or pedestrian with than have a longer lasting 82A but they're just not out there. Even here, you have one set and theyre micro bearings.

Just not enough demand for the mftrs to make them. Going to 82A is not a lot of difference in grip, and with the added durability is sought after ten fold more than that of the 80A. Therefore they just do not produce. Rollerblade for example does not produce one aftermarket wheel at 80A other than 72mm.

Sorry... If I find some, I'll get some.

because 82 a is mainly the standard wheel that comes with skates and 84 a is most preferred, especially by me (who has 85a). 80a wheels are lame, and if your wondering why, I will be more willing to explain
