Hey! I haven't rollerbladed in years. I was mostly a fitness/recreational skater. I purchased some skates that I had to return (not from you) but am hoping to make a better decision this time. The skates I had in the past had an adjustable brake system. I didn't require me to lift my toe, I would just move my foot forward. I have had 3 kids since I skated last and fear of death has set in so I need something that is easy like that until I get more comforatable. I still like speed though. Any recommendations?

i'm not with IW but I think your talking about the ABT system from Rollerblade where you move your brake foot forward and it goes down with all your wheels still on the ground? My first skates were Parkway Viablades from Rollerblade with that system. The only ones I found for womens skates are here http://www.inlinewarehouse.com/descpage.html?pcode=SPW I almost bought a pair of the mens version of this skate, but I rarely use my brakes to stop anymore anyway and will probly remove them from the skates I just ordered.

That is the ABT braking system. Rollerblade went away from it for a while, but came back with a model that uses that system. Check out the Zetrablades on our site. Those would be what you are looking for.

Thanks!
