Hello Inline Warehouse,

I just bought some new wheels and bearings from the site, but I am holding off on replacing the axles until I get some advice. I have been skating since I could walk, but have not skated in years and I'm not up with a lot of the current products. I read the descriptions of the axles you have on the site, but my old skates are not listed for compatibility.

I have not skated in about 7 years, and recently took my old hockey skates out of the closet to run my dog with. I discovered three things; an unusual new foot pain, my bearings are shot and wheels very worn down, and that the axles seem to be a little bent at the screwhead (probably from all the jumping around.) I had forgotten how much I enjoyed inlining and decided to restore these skates before doing the research to splurge on a nice new modern skate for myself.

Here is what I have:

And when I take a wheel off:

^-That axle bolt & screw is what has warped and needs replacing on 8 wheels.
I appreciate any help that you can provide, and if you offer a product that will work for this please let me know.

Thanks,

Nick

The link above should be axles that will work for you at 6mm.

Bearings. Bones are the best in my opinion. Check out the Bones Reds for a good quality bearing that is not expensive.

As for wheels, having olders skates, you may limited in wheel size. 76mm maybe?

I might get that axle kit, but I think I will hold off.

Thanks Stan.
