I can't make my mind up between the two. They're the same as far as wheels and bearings.

I like the lacing system of the Crossfire, but wonder about durability since I read of one whose Kevlar lace broke. They're not cheap to replace.

How do they compare weight wise?

The Crossfire has the option to adjust wheel spacing. Is that a very usefull option, or would the tendency be to set it and forget it?

Do you have a recommendation that you think is a good alternative to either of these two?

Thaks for your help.

The Lightning II would be a little lighter. As for the lacing, there isn't any abundance of problems with those. Very little. It's a preference really. Some really like the lacing and seek it out, others not so much.

My preference would be the light II for whatever it is worth.

Thanks!

Thanks for the help.

I regularly skate around a small lake (2.4 mile loop) with some hills, along a pathway that varies from about 4' - 10' feet in width.

Sometime there are people walking; sometimes others pushing strollers; etc.

Which would provide better maneuverability, the Lightning II or the Crossfire II 4D?

Or are they close enough in that respect not to matter?

Thanks again.

Smaller wheels will provide more maneuverability. Not to say you can't do so with larger wheels, but easier with smaller.
