Hello!
I have a few questions about choosing a skate size. I have just started skating again after a year of no skating and have realized that my old skates just aren't up to par anymore. I decided that I want good skates, and I would really like to buy the Women's Salomon Thunder FSK model.
My brother recently bought Salomon skates from your site and he has been very happy with them. My problem is that I'm not sure what size to order. I have never ordered women's skates before, as I always used guy's skates. After reading sizing information from several websites I'm still confused. I wear size women's size 8 or 8.5 shoes, so which skate size should I get? Should I get 7.5 or 8 or 9? I want to make sure that I get it right the first time, because I live overseas and someone will bring them out to me when they visit. This would make it almost impossible to return them.
Can please you help me?

I would go with a size 8US if you wear a 7.5 or 8 women's shoe. Sizing is tough as a lot of it rides on personal preference.

As well, all brands of shoes and skates seem to fit a little differently so it is hard to compare from one to another.

With a size 8 I am confident you'll be fine. The Thunder FSK skate is a fine skate, but if you are more of a trail skater and want something a little lighter and a softer boot, check out the Motion 7 SPM. Both are nice, just depends on how you'll be using them.

Thanks for the post and I hope I helped.
